Although he's still nearly a year from graduation (August 2009 can't get here fast enough!), Mark's obviously an amazing employee that Motorola just can't get enough of. After he completed his last co-op semester and told his boss he would be continuing with school full time til he graduates, they made him an offer. Last week he went ahead and signed his letter of intent, so it looks like we'll be sticking around Atlanta for a few more years.
So now there's only one thing left to do (and if the first answer you thought of was "Have a baby" you clearly don't know me at all). The correct answer is: start planning our trip to celebrate!
Any ideas of fun places to go?

I am happy that you now have job security but so sad you won't be possibly moving to Utah to be with us!!! As for a vacation...go to Peru!!! I hear it is amazing~ and then think of me when you go and know that I am stuck at home with a child.
I hear India is awesome! Rumor has it that they have the BEST food in the world! :) I'm totally stoked for both of you! NICE WORK MARK!
Houston is always a LOT of fun- and me, Amy AND Jennika are all here:)
Have a baby. I hear kids love Disneyland.....just throwing that out there ;) Ok, ok, go to Greece! I've always wanted to go there!
Yay! Congrats to you guys. You should go to St. Thomas! My roommates and I are planning a trip there in January/Feb hopefully! I've heard it's beautiful!
Or the top place on my list has always been Italy...
So first of all, you stole my blog layout design...its OK, I forgive you. But I think AZ is where it is at for vacation destinations, especially in the winter. And there are amazing people here like ME! I got to see Emily at my shower in Utah and it was wonderful. But your presence was definitely missed.
Congrats on the big decision!
Congrats!!!!!! That is so exciting! I am a huge fan of Aruba. We loved it! Can't wait to go back
Glad you and Mark were able to make a decision. In this crazy economic climate, he's lucky to have job security. And did I hear Motorola is willing to pay for graduate school? Nice!
As for vacations, I'd have to say Greece as well. Isn't that one of your Top Ten destinations? But if you stick closer to home, you'll have money to have a baby as well. :)
Yahoo for y'all! I'm glad y'all get to stick around Atlanta a little longer. As far as a vacation, I think a trip to Costa Rica or Roatan would be fabulous!
I just found your guys' blog, glad your sticking around for a while and congrats on the job!!
One word: Egypt.
Pyramids. Sphinx. Valley of the Kings. Mummies. The Cairo Museum. Luxor. A Nile River cruise. Coolest place I've ever been. And Egyptians are nice.
