Mark, in front of the museum
After The High, we headed to The Varsity for a delicous, authentic, Atlanta lunch. What'll ya have, what'll ya have?!
That afternoon, it was off to the boat show, which turned out to be the highlight of the day. Besides scoring an amazing deal on a new wakeboard and bindings (can you say 1/2 off?) I ended up winning the Free Wakeboard for Life contest. Now I only need to cross that freakin wake...
Sunday we went to church and then visited the Hindu temple in Mark's hometown of Lilburn, GA.
It was a pretty funny experience. It turned out to be the Kite Festival, which is apparently one of their largest holidays. We were approached by a few of the people, and they were very nice, explaining their worship and the building. We were able to go inside (where I think I was converted, since I gave an offering to one of their gods) which was insane...the marble was so intricate and just incredible. It's really hard to explain; just totally unlike anything I'd ever seen before. We didn't get to see the entire building because "the gods were sleeping" when we visited, so it looks like we'll be making a round 2 trip sometime in the future.

I love the picture of you and the open mouth! So what's the deal? Mom and Dad can visit .. and Wendy ... and Matt? What's up?! You don't like the Gouker Goons? J/K If we could find the time to get up there, I know we could go somewhere cool together, too. Maybe someday I'll be brave enough to travel that far sans Jason since the girls and I are "easy, breezy, beautiful ..." and available!
